Jacques Dujardin is a Belgian artist, beekeeper and environmentalist. Here he pays homage to his heroes in art including Da Vinci, Manet, and Van Gogh. It is with a nod to these masters that he orients this collection of new works towards his intense commitment to nature. The works in this exhibition perfectly combine Dujardin’s unique sense of humour with his masterful painting skills.
Jacques Dujardin studied at Sint Lukas, and graduated with a Masters degree from the Académie des Beaux-Arts Brussels, and has since won numerous prizes and awards for his art including Médaille du gouvernement de l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles.
